What information do we gather about our customers?
Information on www.WebArtisan.com.au is gathered in two ways: (1) indirectly (for example, through our site's technology); and (2) directly (for example, when you provide information on various pages of www.WebArtisan.com.au).
One example of information we collect indirectly is through our Internet access logs. When you access www.WebArtisan.com.au, your Internet address is automatically collected and is placed in our Internet access logs.
We also collect information when you voluntarily submit it to us. Throughout our site, we provide the opportunity to register for automated notification, contribute to a project that is underway or to contact us. When we collect this type of information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for information and how this information will be used. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
How do we use this information?
Will we share this with outside parties?
We will not sell or share any individual information. There will be other times when we need to share certain non-confidential information, for example, in the case of an event where we need to provide our caterer with meal preference information. But again, before you submit any information, we will notify you as to why we are asking for specific information and it is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.
What about sensitive personal data?
We do not generally seek to collect sensitive personal data through this site. Where you are required to maintain an account as a WebArtisan customer, any data fields that record personal data will be optional and their supply will be purely at the discretion of the customer.
All communications with WebArtisan are kept confidential
At no time will WebArtisan use or disclose (directly or indirectly) any confidential information or trade secrets of the customer except as required in the course of rendering services on behalf of the customer. Web Artisan will hold in strictest confidence all of the company’s confidential information, inventions, and trade secrets, which obligation shall survive the termination of the agreement between the customer and Web Artisan.
